Summer High School Football Program

Westview Football’s Summer High School Football Program consists of multiple camps which offer opportunities to build strength and conditioning, play full contact football and work on team building and football skills. Spring Training (All Incoming Freshman Only) April 4 – May 25, 2017 | Tuesdays & Thursdays 5:30 – 7:00 P.M. | Cost: Free
This strength agility and quickness program will lay the foundation for our training programs. Players are taught the correct way to lift for safety as well as acclimating them to our High School core lifts and summer program. We have high expectations of our athletes in the off season. We also want to teach them the correct way to lift with progressions. Players will build strength and gain confidence.

Wildcat Camp (Grades 9th-12th) | 6/1 & 6/2, 6/5-6/9 2017 | 3:00- 6:00 P.M. | Note: Incoming Frosh 4:00-6:00 pm | Cost: $75.00
This is a padded camp that will focus on the football  fundamentals of the Wildcat football program Players will be taught the offensive and defensive systems to get them prepared for the fall season. The camp encompasses skill positions on both offense and defense through individual tech sessions. Enhance your skills while learning program specifics to help you enter the season with confidence. 

Strength, Agility & Quickness Camp ( Grades 9th-12th) | 6/26- 8/4, 2017 | M-F 8:00-10:00 A.M. | Cost: $200.00
This camp led by Coach Woods, offers over 75 hours of comprehensive strength and conditioning training.

  • Increase full range of motion ( flexibility and injury prevention)
  • Increase fast twitch muscle activation through plyometric drills
  • Develop physical readiness for upcoming season
  • Learn Olympic power lifts
  • Get an edge on the competition
  • Gain strength and confidence

QB Drills Camp (Grades 9th-12th) QB’s ONLY | June 3, 2017 (9:00-11:00 A.M.) |  July 5, July 12, July 19, 2017 (3:00-5:00 P.M.) Cost: Free
Specializing in throwing mechanics, accuracy, drop backs, ball handling, footwork and reading defenses/coverages.

Frosh 7 on 7 ( Qbs and Receivers) July 12, 2017 & July 19, 2017 (4:00- 6:00 P.M.) | Cost: Free
Frosh 7 on 7 allows incoming players to learn the route tree, coverage concepts and build a relationship with the quarterbacks for the upcoming camps and season. It is a GREAT opportunity to enhance your skills and learn the Westview philosophy.

Metro League Lineman Challenge ( All lineman, All grades) |July 15th |8:00 A.M. – 2:30 P.M. | Cost: Free
We will bring all our lineman to compete in the annual Metro League Lineman Challenge at Hare Field. Schools from all over the state will be attending and it is truly a fantastic events for our big boys. This will be a mandatory event because it is a competition against other schools. We will bring two teams consisting of a JV and Varsity team. Lineman will compete in the following events, Team Tug ‘O’ War, 2-Man Sled Relay, Tractor Tire Flip, Farmers Carry, Bench Press, Broad jump, Vertical Jump, 40 yd Dash and the 20 yd Shuttle.  

Pre-Season Camp (Grades 9th-12th) | 8/7-8/11/2017 | 4:00-7:00 P.M. | Cost: $75.00 
Westview’s Pre-Season Team Camp is a non-padded camp that will prepare players for two-a-days. The camp will 
focus on fundamentals and installing the offensive and defensive playbook.

The fee for the summer programs is $350 which includes the Strength, Agility & Quickness Camp & Pre-Season Camp.The summer football program fee does NOT include the $225 fee assessed by the Beaverton School District (Fall Sports Season Fee) which will need to be paid prior to the first day of practice in August.
